Rose Seidler House

The Rose Seidler House is a heritage-listed property that is opened up to the public for tours. The house was designed by Harry Seidler and built by Bret R. Lake between the years of 1948 and 1950. The materials used for this house were reinforced concrete, timber, glass and natural bush stone. This boxy structure was futuristic and modern for the time period.

There was a lot of texture that was added to this illustration in order to capture the likeness of the natural scene around the property. Lighting and shadows played a big part to help define the shapes and forms of the structure. The natural environment encloses the house help draw your eyes straight to the center of the piece.

Located in South Wales, Australia.
